AnyTable: Blonde

We love everything about our entire set. It’s comfortable and truly endless in configurations. We’ve switched it up at least 3 times now. We’ve had family sleep night too!

I bought three to make a large coffee table. They are a great idea, but I had to make three returns. I had two lids that did not sit evenly on top of the tables and wobbled, causing the tops not to Line lineup. Replacement was sent, and it was a completely different color. The replacement of the replacement was still another color and it was damaged and I could not get the feet to screw in. Also bought the shelves, but they really are not great. No matter where you place a shelf one area is too small to use. There is a groove with felt padding to put the divider down, and the felt padding immediately came off when I tried to insert the divider. You also use small metal clamps to hold the tables together which damages the wood every time you remove them. You cannot see the damage with the tops on the table, thankfully. These tables are too expensive to have so many issues.

The AnyTable is a great concept but with a failed execution. One of the core value propositions of the LoveSac couches is their modularity. The ability to reconfigure and therefore redesign a room is key. The AnyTable fails to align to this concept. While working with the configuration blocks at the showroom, you are made to believe that you can slot a table right into an existing configuration. However, the dimensions of the table are bigger than the blocks and so your configuration that seems to work, will not. I'll give you an example: We have a couch that is configured in a U shape and is 4 pieces wide. The end pieces are oriented in the narrow configuration meaning they extend a bit further than the middle pieces. The 2 middle pieces are in the wide configuration. Our hope was to put the AnyTable between the 2 middle sections and rotate the middle sections from wide to narrow. With the blocks this modification would have kept the same footprint in terms of length and our U would have turned into a rectangle. This would have allowed us easier access to both sides of the couch and provided us a place to put drinks or food. But alas, the width of the AnyTable is greater than the "space" created by rotating the middle sections from a wide to narrow configuration. This means the footprint of our couch would grow by 6" which doesn't work in the space. Be aware if you are going to try to incorporate the AnyTable into an existing layout.
