Side Cover: Seashell Solid Polylinen

Our system arrived in many, many boxes after a delay because the online ordering software thought we wanted a custom fabric. Even after that was sorted out, one item didn't arrive and I had to reach out to correct the fact that it still stated we wanted custom fabric. The boxes are HEAVY. It is EXTREMELY difficult to get the side covers onto the sides. It is almost impossible to assemble it on your own. Once this system is together, you aren't going to want to take it apart. So that nixes buying it for its versatility. I've washed the covers twice now. We got this because we have pets, and we thought it would be easy to clean. it is NOT easy. It takes two full days to wash the whole thing because you can't put the covers in the dryer. We wash half, air dry, then the other half the next day (so we still have someplace to sit). Cat hair does not wash out of the fabric. It has to be pulled out with tape. And forget wet messes - the commercial that shows the wine spill? GUARANTEE that it is seeping through the cover and into the pillow underneath. They are not waterproof. Found this out the hard way. It is truly a workout to take the covers off and put them back on. It is not easy, despite the smiles in the commercials. It is comfy, so that's why I give it two stars. Would I buy this VERY expense sofa system again? Not a chance.
