About Box Elder Tweed Covers

With deep reds, ambers, browns and blacks all woven in to one surprisingly soft (yet rough-hewn-looking) fabric, Box Elder Tweed stands on its own in home decor. The fabric was named after the black-brown bugs with orange lines called "Box Elder Bugs" that would always show up in abundance at the end of summer in the Midwest.

This polyester tweed is a true Lovesac original product and a terrific fabric for use in home décor because of its likeness to a cotton tweed or even a heavyweight linen. Polyester is nearly indestructible because it is a petroleum-based fiber. Polyester is stain resistant because it is a non-porous fiber. Woven polyester is washable because it does not shrink and does not stretch. And our polyester tweed has a hand feel similar to that of classic cotton and wool tweeds due to new advanced technologies made available to the textile industry.

Box Elder is easy to pair with nearly any earth tone. Tan, brown, maize, and even black go well with this fabric. The color really stands on its own in home decor. It is definitely not a "red" cover, but then, it is not a "brown" one either.

The Squattoman Foot Rest

The Squattoman just may be Lovesac's coolest, simplest invention. Filled with thousands of tiny microbeads (not foam), the Squattoman's non-stretch fabric along its walls restricts the beads from expanding outward when the little guy is sat on, so even though the Squatt feels squishy on top, where its pleated head allows the beads to expand and squish around, when sat on the Squattoman becomes instantly turgid—ready for action. In other words, you can sit on it like a stool and you won't plop to the ground. A great extra seat in any movie room! Or you can just put your feet on it, kick back, and watch the show.

The Tubesac Neck Pillow

The Tubesac snaps on right above the Sac logo flap and works like a neck-roll, supporting your head in the perfect TV watching, gaming, or reading position.

The Sodasac Drink Holder

The Sodasac snaps onto the handles on the side of the Sac to hold your beverage of choice—allowing it to swing, just a bit, inside of its internal pouch which acts like a mini gyroscope to help keep your drink upright (but if you jump onto your Sac with a drink in it, it will still spill—but it doesn't really matter because all of these things, including the Sac cover, are machine washable.
