Instructions for Use
Fluffing Your Sac®
1. A Sac® is basically a giant fabric Sac® filled with shredded Durafoam® or “Insert,” covered with a removable, washable, changeable designer “Cover,” which is usually sold separately.
2. Your Insert comes packed, shrunken down inside of a collectible brown nylon duffel bag. Unzip the duffel and take out the insert.
3. Pull the plastic off the Insert. (It’s a huge plastic bag—save it!) NEVER UNZIP OR CUT THE INSERT FABRIC!!!
4. In a nice warm room and from the outside of the KhakiSac Cover, grip the compressed Durafoam®, through the fabric of the Sac® Insert, begin breaking off big chunks of Durafoam® within.
5. Continue breaking off chunks of Durafoam® within, as you flip/turn your insert over and over.
6. Once you break the Durafoam® into big chunks, start kneading those big chunks into smaller chunks. If you massage them as you break them apart, they will break apart faster. Keep turning the insert over and over as you do this.
7. Once the pieces of Durafoam® are no larger than about two inches in diameter, you are almost finished… the end result—a popcorn-like consistency within the Khaki fabric Sac® Insert.
8. You may choose to leave the outside Cover (designer Cover of decorative fabric) off for a few days. This helps the foam fill with air and achieve maximum fluffiness faster. It may take 1-15 days for the Durafoam® within to recover completely from its shrunken state.
9. Sit, flip, flop, bounce on, and turn your LoveSac®. The more you do, the better it gets.
10. Have fun! Sac® fluffing is the best upper-body workout you can get!
Covering Your Sac®
1. Completely unzip the Cover (sold separately).
2. Position the Sac® Insert with the zipper on top. Drape the Cover over the Sac® Insert, aligning the two ends of the Cover zipper (open) with the two ends of the zipper (closed) of the Sac® insert, thereby positioning the curved seams of the Cover, to align exactly with the curved seams of the Sac® Insert.
3. Position the Cover zipper so it zips toward you.
4. Zip the Cover about 18 inches, pulling it down towards your knees, then roll the Sac® away from you, and zip it down, another 18 inches.
5. Continue zipping and rotating until the Cover is completely zipped.
“Chairing” your Sac®
1. Sacs must be fluffed and “chaired” regularly, to retain their full shape and comfort level.
2. Reach down low, gripping the Cover fabric firmly, near to the floor.
3. Lift the Sac®, and rotate it over and over until fluffed.
4. Position Sac® so logo-flap is on top.
5. Stand so you are facing the logo-flap, reading the logo head-on.
6. “Chair” the Sac® by pushing in with both hands, at a point on the front bulge of the Sac, about halfway between the logo-flap and the floor.
7. Use hands to mold a “chair-like” indentation on the front of the Sac.
8. Sit. Sac® out. Enjoy.
Care Instructions
• All Covers EXCEPT leather are machine washable in cold water. Do not dry clean.
• DO NOT put your Cover in the dryer – line dry only.
• Khaki Sacs (Inserts, without Cover), must be spot-cleaned only.
• Should your Sac® get wet, damp, exposed to pet-urine, or otherwise damaged, Sac® Cover should be removed and washed as instructed. If the Khaki Sac® Insert or the Durafoam® within is dampened, remove decorative Cover, spot clean, place outdoors in direct sunlight until thoroughly dry, and any odor is gone.
Warranty Information
*Two-Lifetime warranty must be activated by proper product registration at www.lovesac.com within 90 days from purchase, otherwise the warranty is limited to 90 days, under the same terms. Two-Lifetime warranty is limited to 2 times the life of the product, subject to industry standards. Coverage is limited to guarantee against manufacturer's defects directly resulting in product failures not stemming from use, abuse, or excessive wear. Sacs will not break at the seams, leak, or go flat. Product used for commercial purposes is not subject to said warranty. Presentation of the original purchase receipt and registration of the product directly with LoveSac is required (see www.lovesac.com), for all warranty claims.
