This new idea for a huge beanbag was something no other furniture store had created, so Shawn D. Nelson ran with the idea and LoveSac was born.
Since 1995, a lot of things have changed around LoveSac, but the core belief remains the same, and that is for people to “get comfy”. LoveSac has begun selling furniture online through our online furniture store and we also have over 20 retail furniture stores across the United States. We have expanded our line of furniture from our Sacs (beanbags to the lay person) to now a line of sectional couches, called Sactionals. Our Sactionals are so unique that we can’t even find any imitators. Our Sactionals are built piece by piece and can be reconfigured into any number of designs depending on your mood.
