Tobacco Weave is allegedly the only textile that is exported from the uncharted northern regions of Argentina. It was long thought to have medicinal purposes, but has recently been proven to only be very stylish. It is hand woven on a traditional loom interlocking viscose threads with fibers from the tobacco plant’s stalk, and then transported overland by horseback across southern Chilean cattle ranges leading to the foothills of the Andes. From there it is straight up the coast line, only to be inspected in Bogotá by defunct guerrilla factions that are not only illegally armed, but also very good looking.

This particular batch of Tobacco Weave from LoveSac is actually made from polyester thread and is milled on enormous automated machines, then whipped onto 100 meter rolls that are sent to be cut, sewn, and packed for export onto giant container ships that are actually unloaded in New Jersey....but it is still the most interesting fabric in the world, and very deserving of a place in your living room. As an accent to Cigar Brown Leather, Leszure-Tan Tweed, or Bidness-Grey Tweed, Tobacco weave is a classy, natural, understated look.
