About Phur
As intimated by the clever use of the "ph" instead of the traditional "f," no animals were harmed in the making of LoveSac Phurs....they're fake...but they're real soft. We sought out only the finest faux minks, black bears, beavers, and even kings and eskimos to donate their phake phurs for our collection, all in the name of comfort. All of our phurs are 100% polyester fibers, making them extremely stain resistant and really quite durable....nearly anything will wash out of therse phurs, no matter the color. Its backing removes mostl stretch and stiffens the fabric adding loft and durability. Be careful--curling up in one of our Phurs can induce a state of hibernation. Most Phur covers are 100% polyester; some may include rayon, nylon or acrylic. There is simply no furniture on the planet that can rival LoveSac furniture with a phur cover, for comfort.
About Mink
Ok, so no real minks were used in making these unbelievable Silver Mink Covers. But we were able to recreate the soft, sexy, silvery look of a real mink without the guilt. It is a strange blend of black, brown, and silver that is woven, dyed, and trimmed to create an unbelievably real texture and color combination. Rub your hand through the nap of the Silver Mink and reveal the black in the undermost layer, the brown tones halfway up each strand, and the striking silver sheen across the surface. There is truly no other fabric like it. Goes great with blacks and browns.
