Q: How are LoveSacs different than other foam bags or bean bags?
A: It’s not a damn beanbag! LoveSac is the original Oversized Sac, designed with premium quality. Everything else is just a cheap knock-off.
- Sacs are filled with three different types of shredded DuraFoam, so it will never go flat…only at LoveSac
- Sacs include double stitch construction all around with reinforced bar-tacking at zipper-ends so it will not break or tear.
- In- stock Sac Covers (except the PillowSac) come with a remote control pocket in the logo-tag and a brand sticker inside (or inside folded cover). This excludes Custom Covers.
- LoveSac stock fabrics are specially manufactured just for LoveSac – not available anywhere else.

Q: What size Sac should I get?
A: It is the customer’s personal preference to decide which Sac is perfect for their home. Take into account factors such as the space you have available, the number of people using the Sac at one time and the décor of your home.
Q: How do I fluff my sac?
A: Your insert comes in a re-usable duffle bag. Unzip the duffle and take out the naked insert. You may want to wait an hour after you’ve taken the Sac out before you fluff it so it has time to breathe.
- Pull the plastic bag off of the insert. Never unzip or cut the naked Sac.
- Start breaking apart the chunks of foam from the outside of the Sac (through the fabric with your hands)
- Keep breaking off chunks of foam as you flip/turn the insert over.
- Once you break the foam into big chunks, start breaking them into smaller pieces. If you massage the pieces as you break them apart, it will speed up the process. Meanwhile, continue to flip the insert.
- When the pieces of foam are about two inches in diameter, you are almost finished.
- Leave the designer Cover off for at least 24 hours. This helps the foam fill with air and achieve maximum fluffiness, however the Sac does not need to be fully fluffed to put the cover on.
- Sit, flip, flop, bounce on, and turn your LoveSac. The more you use it, the more comfortable it will be!
Q: My Sac doesn’t feel the same as it did in the store. Why?
A: Make sure you wait 24 hours before putting on the designer cover. If the Sac is too flat after following the fluffing instructions, you may want additional durafoam. If the Sac feels too hard, you may opt to take out foam.
Q: How do I put the Cover on my sac?
A: A Sac must be correctly covered for perfection.
- Completely unzip the designer cover (sold separately). Position the Sac Insert with the zipper on top.
- Drape the cover upside down over the Sac Insert.
- Align the two ends of the cover zipper (open) with the two ends of the zipper (closed) of the Sac Insert, positioning the curved seams of the cover. Make sure they line up exactly with the curved seams of the Sac Insert.
- Position the cover zipper so it zips toward you and zip the cover about 24 inches, pulling it down towards your knees, then roll the Sac away from you and zip it down another 24 inches.
- Continue zipping and rotating until the Sac is completely covered.
Q: Is buying a designer cover necessary for my Sac?
A: Most designer covers are washable and changeable. They include fabrics such as microsuede, plushsuede, and velvish, which dramatically add to the comfort of the Sac. We have over one hundred custom fabrics to choose from, so you should be able to find a cover to match any décor.
Q: How do I wash my cover?
A: Most designer covers are machine washable. Wash in cold water with gentle detergent. Line dry.
Q: What is the naked Sac cover made from?
A: The naked insert fabric is 100% polyester (easily cleaned and fire retardant).
Q: How do I wash my naked Sac insert?
A: Should your naked Sac insert get wet, damp, exposed to pet-urine or otherwise damaged, it is not ruined! Spot clean and place outdoors in direct sunlight until your Sac is thoroughly dry and any odor is gone.
Q: I bought a Sac quite a few years ago, and now I don’t see a cover online with the same name as my Sac. How can I get a cover for my Sac?
A: Over the last few years, some of our Sac names have changed. Same size, same shape, new name. You can still get a new cover for almost every Sac.

Q: If I bought a BigOne that has two inserts, are there covers to fit these inserts individually?
A: Yes, two MovieSac covers will fit the two Inserts.
Q: The PillowSac looks like its different than the other Sacs. What are the measurements, and what is it like?
A: The PillowSac measures 58” wide and 70” long with a cover, and it weights approximately 30 lbs. Lean it against a wall and it’s a sofa or place the Sac on its side and it’s a game-chair. Zip off the Cover and its oversized flat Insert makes a great guest rest. Place it on the Rocker Frame and it’s the most comfortable two-person rocking chair there is.
Q: How do I tell the difference between a G1 KidSac and G2 KidSac?
A: If you purchased it before 2007, it’s a G1 KidSac. The G2 KidSac insert is typically royal blue. If the logo on the Sac has a little number two in the logo, it’s a G2 KidSac.
Q: Can I design my own size Sac?
A: We are always coming up with new products and ideas, but at this time we offer seven sizes of Sacs and we cannot make custom sized Sacs.
Q: Is LoveSac an environmentally friendly company?
A: All of our sacs use foam scrap (new foam) that otherwise would end up in a landfill.
SACTIONALS
Q: What are Sactionals?
A: Sactionals are extremely modular, washable alternative furniture designed for America’s TV rooms, and patented by LoveSac. Take the pieces of your Sactionals through a narrow hallway, up three flights of stairs or into a basement movie theatre with no problem! They consist of two pieces, “Bases” and “Sides”, any configuration is possible with these “building blocks” Like our Sacs, Sactionals have changeable covers enabling your furniture to change as frequently as you’d like.
Q: What is the weight/size of Sactionals pieces?
A: Sactionals are made up of 2 pieces – bases and sides.
- Bases weigh 45 lbs (includes: upholstered frame, seat cushion, back pillow, shoe, clamp, peg-feet) and measure 35” wide x 29” deep x 20” (with peg-feet).
- Sides weigh 25 lbs, and measure 35” wide x 29” deep x 20” (with peg-feet) and measure 35” long x 6” wide x 31” tall (with peg-feet).
Q: Do I need tools to put my Sactionals together?
A: No tools are required- everything you need comes in the box. Sactionals assembly is easy to understand. Each Base and Side comes with one shoe and one clamp. For visual instructions, check out www.lovesac.com under the Sactionals section. (Sactionals assembly shown in the picture below)
Q: Are LoveSac products fire retardant?
A: All Sac and Sactionals Inserts meet the California fire rating TB- 117 for home furnishings fire retardants as displayed on the Law Tag.
Q: How are Sactionals constructed? What materials are used?
A: All Sactionals have double-row stitching and an embroidered logo on each piece. Velcro strips at on bottom are strategically placed to allow the owner to adjust tightness of tailored designer covers. There are Velcro strips on the bottom of the base cushions as well so it does not slide off the base.
- Fabric: The Khaki fabric on our “naked Sactionals” is a 50/50 cotton-polyester mix.
- Frame: The Base frame is made of a hardwood with steel furniture springs across the top
- Sactionals Seat Cushions: Sactionals seat cushions consist of multiple layers, including an anti- sag layer. The cushion also includes firm high density DuraFoam (for durability), soft high density foam (for softness) and poly-fiber (for hand-feel).
- Sactionals Back Cushions: Sactionals back cushions consist of a 3-chambered poly-fiber pillow. The inner pillow is 42” wide, Khaki upholstery is 37” wide, (designer covers are 35” wide for plump fit).
- Shoes and Clamps: Each Base and Side come with 1 shoe and 1 clamp. The steel clamps will not bend. The shoes are made of reinforced hard wood so they won’t scratch most floors. Any desired Sactionals position is possible with these hardware pieces included.
Q: How many people will fit on 1 Sactionals base (an arm chair consists of 1 base and 3 sides)
A: Sactionals cushions have a wide design. Generally, one Sactionals cushion is large enough for two people to sit and deep enough to slouch on. A 2-base Sactionals sofa measures 82 inches long, which is comparable to most standard 3-cushion sofas in length.
Q: If I only buy a couple of Sactionals pieces now, can I add more later?
A: Yes! One of the best reasons to become a Sactionals owner is to be able to add pieces later. You can start with just an armchair or a loveseat, and then add enough pieces to make a sectional sofa. Buy naked Sactionals now, and then add covers later.
Q: Do I have to buy covers in order to use my Sactionals?
A: Sactionals may be set up prior to purchasing designer covers. “Naked” Sactionals are made of a polyester/cotton blend. However, Sactionals covers make your furniture washable and changeable. LoveSac offers 8 in stock fabrics and hundreds of custom options.
Q: Can I order different colors for Base and Side Covers?
A: Yes, because Base and Side Covers come separately you are able to mix and match.

Q: How is the SquattoMan different than the other sacs?
A: The SquattoMan is our version of a little ottoman, and unlike Sacs, it is filled with virgin microbeads which allows it to feel squishy t o the touch, but firm when sat on. While sitting in a sac, kick your feet up on the SquattoMan to experience ultimate “comfyness.”
Q: What is the PillowSac rocker, and is it only to be used with the PillowSac?
A: The PillowSac Rocker is a curved black frame that sits on the floor, and is only to be used with the PillowSac. When you place the PillowSac on the PillowSac Rocker, you have a “rocking sac”.
Q: What is Shredded Durafoam?
A: Shredded Durafoam is a LoveSac trademarked unique blend of high, medium, and low-density open-cell polyurethane foam. Its design assures the most comfortable sitting experience and guaranteed to never go flat.
Q: Can I order extra back pillows for my Sactionals without ordering an entire new base?
A: Yes, extra back pillows are available on our website under the Accessories section.
Q: Can I customize all of my accessories?
A: Custom Covers are not available for FootSacs, SodaSacs, SpeakerSacs, Media Rockers, or Rocker Frames at this time.
Q: I have Custom Cover for my Sac. Will the SodaSac, SpeakerSac or TubeSac attach to it?
A: Custom Covers do not have Love Handles to attach a SodaSac. However, there is one snap for a TubeSac or SpeakerSac above the logo flap on each Sac.

Q: How will my Sac be shipped to me?
A: All Sac Inserts are compressed to 1/5th of their original size, thus allowing even the largest shrunken Sac to fit easily into the smallest car. Sac Inserts are in stock at all LoveSac Life stores, so you can take your Sac home with you the day of purchase!

Q: How are Sactionals shipped? Do they shrink down like Sacs?
A: Sactionals sides are shipped in a box that fits snugly over the side pieces. Sactionals Bases include 3 components that are shipped in a box – the seat cushion & back cushion come packed up inside the Base Frame for small packaging, easy takeout and efficient shipping. Both Side pieces and Base pieces contain one Shoe and one Clamp for easy installation.

Q: Will all of the products I ordered show up on the same day?
A: Orders with more than one item will generally be shipped in more than one box, and possibly be shipped from multiple locations. If you only receive part of your shipment, don’t panic! The rest of your items should arrive shortly.
Q: How do I shrink my sac so I can move or store it?
A: We have a couple options that will make moving or storing your sac a more pleasant experience! On www.lovesac.com in the accessories section, we have two items specifically designed to help people more easily handle their sac.
- You can purchase a Ship Kit in the “LoveSac Utilities” section. This helps you shrink your sac small enough to fit into the duffel bag that comes with the Ship Kit.
- You can also purchase a Sport Utility Cover (available for the MovieSac or SuperSac) in the “LoveSac Limited” section. This is our most durable cover (you can take it camping, take it outside, etc) that has cinch straps on it. The cinch straps make the sac a little smaller and more manageable. The Sport Utility Cover can also be used as an additional casual cover option.
Q: How does the Ship Kit work?
A: This process is easier with more than one person. It is available for MovieSacs or SuperSacs.
- Place your sac it in the middle of the plastic bag and gather the excess plastic together.
- Put your vacuum hose in the middle of the plastic and hold the plastic around the hose as tight as you can.
- Turn the vacuum cleaner on, while the vacuum is sucking the air out of the Sac gently lay on top of the Sac, and the Sac will begin to flatten. Once it is about halfway shrunk turn it turn and lay on it again.
- Without turning the vacuum off, rotate the sac and repeat the process until your Sac is completely compressed.
- Once the sac has the air out of it, quickly tie off the plastic bag. Put the wrapped Sac into the black ship kit bag.
Q: Can I ship to an APO address?
A: When you get to the check out stage of your order there is a link for www.SHIPITAPO.com. You can have your order shipped to them and they will ship it your APO address. Finally, at the end of your order there is a promo box. Type in the word “military” you will automatically get 10% off your order.
Q: Can I ship to a PO Box?

WARRANTY
Q: What is the guarantee for Sacs and Covers?
A: LoveSac’s warranty protects against all product failures due to manufacturer’s defects. For example, this includes fabric continuity, seams, stitching, etc. The product must be registered at www.lovesac.com/productregistration within 90 days of the purchase.
Q: How long does LoveSac warranty my product?
A: Sac Inserts come with a 2-lifetime guarantee covering construction, zippers, seams, and fabric continuity, durafoam refills etc. Sactionals come with a lifetime guarantee, and the cushions are warranted for three years. Sac Covers, accessories, and most other products come with a 90 day limited warranty against manufacturer’s defects. The warranty does not cover excessive wear and tear, user error, or other types of damage like spills, stains, etc.
Make sure to register your product at www.lovesac.com/ productregistration within 90 days from purchase for your 3-year extended warranty. You will receive an e-mail confirmation after your have registered. After 90 days from the date of purchase, you will not be able to register your product for this extended warranty. Keep this e-mail for your records. This e-mail is the proof of warranty for your product(s), and will need to be presented in the unlikely event that you encounter a warranty issue.
Q: My LoveSac was damaged during shipping. Will I be sent a new one?
A: We will send you a new Sac right away if your Sac was damaged upon shipping. Please provide us with the order number and pictures of the packaging as well as the damaged product. This enables us to file a claim with the shipper.
Q: I fluffed my Sac and it is still flat. How do I fix this?
A: Please make certain that there aren’t any foam chunks inside your Sac that have not been broken apart. Also, make sure you have waited for one full week after opening. Otherwise if you add more you will probably end up with too much foam inside. If your Sac does not have enough DuraFoam inside, LoveSac will be happy to send you more if you have registered your product.
Q: I ripped my Sac insert but I did not register it when I bought it. Can you help me in any way?
A: Our Sport Utility Cover is the solution to your problem. Order the Sport Utility Cover in the LoveSac Limited section of the website. You can also put a Sac cover over the Sport Utility Cover.
Q: Can I return my order?
A: If you ordered the wrong product and it is unopened, you may return the product to the store. If you purchased it on the web, it must be shipped to the nearest LoveSac store before you are refunded.
